Hi, I’m Lanette!
I’m married to my amazing husband Travis, and we have 3 super fun kids! I love the summer and I love snow. I love all kinds of parties and events of all kinds, from weddings to birthdays, as well as corporate events and brunches.
A little bit about us — Contessa catering is my company! I have been in the food and beverage industry for 24 years, working at several upscale resorts such as the Royal Hawaiian in Oahu, The Kapalua Bay hotel in Maui, the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix, and in Mexico. In all of these resorts, our chefs and myself have worked side by side with some of the best chefs in the country.
I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle with a full degree in Food Science. Since then, I have been on several food expeditions throughout Mexico and many regions of the US. Finally, I started with The Cake Contessa in 2005, and from there I opened Contessa Catering and Contessa The Bakery.
